Teen Jazz celebrated it’s one-year blogiversary since it’s renovation yesterday, and it was an exciting day. I know that I’ve mentioned the site before, but just in case you’re new here, Teen Jazz is a website and community I run for up and coming musicians. The site has seen several milestones in the last 12 months and I look forward to many more months of exciting developments in the future.
U-Nam and I also had an interview with Trish Hennessey over at Hybrid Jazz Radio, but due to technical difficulties, the interview has been rescheduled to September 17 at 12pm PST. Hope to see you there in the chat!
Last week we also released, “Open Beta” our first EP as Nivo Deux. Excited doesn’t even begin to express the way I feel about this project, and we have a few exciting things planned in the next few weeks that I’ll announce shortly.
We also have a few other interviews with Coffee Talk Jazz Radio, Funky Band (for our French Speaking friends – ahem Eric), and Talking Smooth Jazz. You can check out where we’ll be here.
Second to lastly (yeah, that’s a thing now), I’m really excited about my new endorsement with Vibrato Saxophones. If you haven’t had the chance to see my new saxophone, it’s really pretty. AND, it sounds great. Plus it’s fun to play.
Finally, on Sunday/Monday we’re going to be doing an awesome giveaway with the Rheuben Allen Education Foundation at Teen Jazz to celebrate our anniversary and the start of the school year. So get ready!
How has your week been? I’d love hear to what you’ve been up to in the comments!
